Application

STEP 1: Attend our Information Sessions (required for all applicants).  If you are unable to attend an Information Session because of an academic conflict, please email resedstaff@tcnj.edu.

STEP 2: Prepare your resume.  Consider visiting the Career Center to have your resume reviewed and/or prep for your interview.

STEP 3: Reach out to references for their updated contact information.  ResEd staff will contact your references after your application is submitted. It is strongly recommended that one of your references be completed by a member of the TCNJ community (staff, faculty, or current ResEd student staff). You should select references who can provide an objective and critical analysis of your skills and experiences. Family and friends are not recommended. It is in your best interest to explain the position(s) for which you are applying to your reference.

STEP 4: Submit your online application.  You will be required to submit your resume, the names and contact information of two references, and a completed application (with essays) online by November 28. Students who fail to attend an information session and/or submit of incomplete applications will not be invited to interview.
